May 5 was World Asthma Day. Asthma is a non-communicable disease (NCD) that is characterized by recurrent attacks of breathlessness and wheezing due to the swelling and narrowing of airways in the lungs. Spreading awareness and educating individuals with asthma can help them manage their asthma and live healthier lives.
